The Lumix G9 well-suited for both still photography and videos. The build quality is very nice with top-notch professional look, the controls are solid and the body gives you the feeling is really well made. It is relatively compact and lightweight which is perfect for traveling, and most important takes excellent pictures. It is the ideal camera to walk around and take outdoor pictures. Image quality in jpeg and raw formats is very good.

At a reasonable price, image quality is excellent, it's responsive and quick to focus. The DC-G9 camera with kit lens 12-60mm is capable of shooting a wide variety of photos without carrying three different lens. It covers a great ground for all purpose use, 12-60 allows wide angle to zoom in one lens.

6K and 4K Photo Modes

The Panasonic G9 packs a lot of features and quality. Utilizing the 4K video recording capabilities, a trio of still shooting modes are available for recording continuous 8MP stills at a 60 or 30 fps shooting rate or 18MP stills at a 30 fps shooting rate. The 4K Photo modes: 4K Burst, 4K Pre-Burst and 4K Burst (S/S) they allow you to record continuous images to get the most perfect shot.

Is Lumix G9 good for photography?

This camera features the best image stabilization possible, 5-axis IBIS compensates for camera shake in order to realize sharper photos and videos when shooting handheld. This unique image stabilization system works across five axes to compensate for vertical angle rotation, horizontal angle rotation, horizontal shift, vertical shift, and rolling camera shake movement.

Low light higher ISO performance

The low light capabilities are very impressive handling 3200 ISO with very minimal noise. Higher ISO's up to 25600 are usable, but you do start to see some digital noise. The auto focus is amazingly fast and allows great action shots even at indoor sport games with low light.
